How to play Bird Burst

Four players guard four sides of a broken cage. A very unpredictable parrot wants out. The player whose side lets it escape loses that round.

Move your cage piece

On a phone or tablet, drag left or right anywhere across the lower half of the game screen. Your cage piece follows relative movement, so there is no jump when you put your finger down. On a computer, move your mouse or use the left/right arrow keys or A and D. An accessible slider is also available.

Watch for the squawk attack

The parrot changes direction, speeds up and makes sudden attacks. Slide your cage piece into its path to save your side. Your own side is always drawn at the bottom, even when you are playing online from another seat.

Five rounds. Every save counts.

A save earns 10 points. Surviving a round earns 100 points. A match lasts five rounds. Registered matches run on the server, which records scores and XP. Guest progress stays in your browser.

Play solo or with friends

Quick Match pairs you with three AI birds. In a friend game, every unused seat gets an AI player: two humans play alongside two bots, while four humans need no bots.
